He shoves Aaron in the basement, while you, Nicky Roth friend of Aaron sees this, He tries to uncover the truth, by going into the basement. Peterson (aka the neighbor) get's depressed, and so does the son, Aaron, you/ Maya play hide and seek with him, each game getting darker and darker, until Aaron accedentaly kills Maya, making Mr.Peterson more angry then upset. The parents of the two kid's in hide and seek go fora drive, the mother dies, which makes Mr. Don't get me wrong I love hello neighbor and hello neighbor hide and seek, but the first game get's kinda repetitive, but hide and seek, is just more fun, but the story is dark, so if you haven't played the game here are spoilers.

This review is for the full version of the game, and for the prequel. I don't think it's worth the money, as there are better games out there, but if your intentions are to get spooked with out tons of inappropriate violence and gore this game may be for you. It has it's issues with glitches both with things failing to spawn to solve the puzzle to the neighbor getting stuck and that can be frustrating. There is no language, gore, sex, or drug reference in the play through, but there is plenty of weird stuff going on that leads you to think something isn't right.Īside from breaking and entering, the weird neighbor throwing things at you, the game is okay. There are tons of puzzle to escape and find out what your crazy neighbor is up to.and because of the jump scares, this game may not be suitable for young players. Probably not something very healthy to have running in a child's head. When he sees you he instantly grabs you? Normal, not really, scary you play as a kid and being locked up in his house. The whole premiss is to find out what you neighbor is hiding and that alone has suggestive thoughts. There is no active violence that goes on in a typical survival horror game, but there is some imagary that my lead to suggestive violence that occurred in the game.
It's definitely a game where parents of children under 12 probably should supervise by playing together. So this game is not what you would think from the title.
